Teacher - Prorok

Hello! I am Shayle Prorok.  I teach 7th and 8th grade art, as well as,  Digital Photography, Art 101-105, and AP Art History.  I am the Art Club and Junior Class sponsor and serve on the SAP team.   I have been teaching art in the district for 13 years.  Every year in Leechburg is more exciting and enjoyable than the last!  In my classes, I try to incorporate history, writing, math, and science throughout my curriculum.   If you see me, I could possibly be covered in pie from our edible sculpture competition "Eat Your Art Out" or covered in paint from window painting windows in the community, building prom props or just from teaching class.  
 
 
 I grew up in New Kensington Pennsylvania.  I went to school at Clarion University for my Bachelors of Fine Arts.  After spending a few years in advertising, I decided to change my life path.   I enrolled at Seton Hill University for my education certification.   I spent a small amount of time as a day to day substitute and a permanent substitute in various districts until I landed in Leechburg.  Now I enjoy spending time with my family at the zoo, many museums, and stadiums throughout the city.
