Homework Policy:

I give minimal homework; I prefer to work with students in class so that they can ask questions and clarify their understanding. Students almost always have ample time in class to get their assignments done. Work that is not finished in class becomes homework.

Students are responsible for using their planners to list any unfinished assignments.

I highly recommend that even if students finish their assignments in class, they should write "no HW" in their planners so they remember that they have no assignments that night. Assignments are always written on the homework board in my classroom, and are discussed at the start and end of class.
